How a book is made

Scissors first, computer last.

  1. Draw

The story starts as pencil sketches on long rolls of paper.

  2. Cut

Every page is cut by hand from coloured paper, up to twelve layers.

  3. Light

We stack the layers in a light box and photograph them.

  4. Print

Printed on thick, soft paper that little hands can turn.
